Loreto Swim Camp Day 1

My own Garmin watch broke down the day before we flew out, so I was really glad that my friend Andrew let me borrow his for this route!

On Day 1 of Swim Camp in Loreto! With a lot of the same crew as last year’s La Paz Swim Camp, we did another 2-day trip.

For the first day, we did an almost-circumnavigation of Isla Coronado. The water was a balmy 73ºF, it was very sunny, and we saw lots fun wildife.

We saw a large pod of dolphins about 30 minutes into the swim. Later on in the swim, we came across a large raft of sea lions. They were totally unbothered by humans, sitting there in the water with their fins up sunning. I wish San Francisco’s sea lions were that relaxed!
