I took advantage of a work trip to Chicago to hop in with some of the locals at Promontory Point near Hyde Park!

Susan Blew at the South End connected me with Jennefer Hoffman (one of the subjects of a New Yorker article and short film), who was such a sweet host. It was brief swim, the water temp was about 55ºF, but the sunrise and company were amazing. Their group goes to get coffee afterwards nearby and it was a great way to start my Friday.
