Pier 27

Miguel kayaked for me and Erika. We fought the tide and headed out east, towards the bay bridge (similar to a course Miguel took me and Kim and Antonio on a few years ago). We got to Pier 27, and there was a some traffic and a really strong ebb pushing against us. We tried to swim underneath the pier, but couldn’t qupte get around the corner and turned around.

On the way back, as we passed Pier 39, a sea lion started to trail us a bit. It got closer than I would have liked, and by that point I was about done for the day.

We ended up at 2hr20min, which I think was a solid time considering how much of it was against the current.
