For my birthday, I wanted to have a swim that ended at a bar. After looking at the tides and my various options, I settled on The Interval at Long Now, probably my favorite bar in the city. We left the South End, swam west, and got out on the pier in Gashouse Cove. I had planned it so some friends (land people) would be waiting for us with our towels and clothes so we could dry off and grab a drink. It was fun! Would definitely consider doing it again.
