I was in New York City for Memorial Day Weekend and got to swim with CIBBOWS, the Coney Island Brighton Beach Open Water Swimmers.

I hopped in to the water (a nice 57ºF) right off the Brighton Beach part of the boardward, swam along the beach to the pier and then swam back. It was a gorgeous morning, and I can’t wait to swim with these folks again next time I’m in the city!
