Belvedere Lagoon

On Friday night, Lucy and I tagged along with Kim to swim in the Belvedere Lagoon, a man-made lake up in Marin county. The water was a warm 72ºF, but very salty. We jumped in at 9:15pm and Kim and I didn’t get out until 7:15am the next morning. As a bonus for staying up so late, we got to see a few shooting stars from the Perseids!

Kim’s been pulling all-nighters like this for the past 2 months! It was a killer swim (and very repetetive, as you can see from the map below), but it’s really important for all of us to get rack up hours (and miles) for our various swims coming up.

Special shout-out to our gracious host Bobby T, who graciously let us jump off his dock and leave our feed there.
